    Hermes Agent Adopts Portable Plugins Standard

    TLDR

    Teknium from Nous Research stated that Hermes Agent now supports the portable plugins standard adopted by several major AI players. The update allows compatibility with MCPs and Skills. It also supports adding native Hermes plugins for slash commands, hooks into the plugin API, GUI plugins, Dashboard, and skins. Vercel CEO Guillermo Rauch responded positively to the announcement. Documentation for the plugins is linked in the posts.
