Thinking Machines announced the release of Inkling-Small through its official account. The new model achieves comparable performance to the original Inkling while using one quarter the size. It contains 276B total parameters and 12B active parameters in a multimodal Mixture-of-Experts design. Full weights are now available. The company states the model supports controllable reasoning effort. Users can fine-tune it on Tinker or interact with it via text and image modes.
