Fable Fixes RasterFairy Bug and Adds JS Port for Grid Transformations
Mario Klingemann says a fresh pass with Fable solved a years-old RasterFairy bug and produced a browser demo.
“Today I saw his post that he has found a new very elegant solution with Fable which reminded me that I never tried to throw Fable at RasterFairy. So I just did and it managed to identify and fix the one remaining mystery bug that had been bothering me for years.”
Mario Klingemann@quasimondoTECH#1491In a post on X, artist and coder Mario Klingemann said a new pass with Fable fixed what he called RasterFairy's last long-running mystery bug. Klingemann described RasterFairy as his speed-focused way to turn 2D embeddings or point clusters into grids, while the project's GitHub repo says the tool tries to preserve neighborhood relationships during that transformation. In a follow-up reply on X, he also linked a new JavaScript demo page and the repo.
