honest question. if you prompted an llm and discovered p = np (eg, got a polynomial time algorithm for np-complete problems), what do you do with it? you cant just post it on x (would destroy society) feel like trying to send it to the cia wouldnt even work (probably ignored)
A quadratic-time SAT algorithm with a hidden tower- (or wowzer-) sized constant would be really funny. Will facilitate an El Dorado like gold rush, massive industrial mobilization, geopolitical panic, 100s of billions in research investment, and ultimately it'd amount to nothing.
