Nous Research Tests Bot Mode for Hermes Agent
Alternative to sessions mode lets users create specialized persistent agent profiles.
Teknium, research engineer and co-founder at Nous Research, posted a screenshot of Bot Mode in the Hermes Agent Desktop App. The feature replaces sessions with multiple named bots that hold custom jobs, descriptions, profile images, separate chats, and memories. Bots can message one another inside the app. A demo video appeared in replies. Users quoted the post saying their research bots now fetch cited answers without extra configuration. Nous Research's official account also shared the update. Teknium noted the mode requires the latest Hermes plugin API enhancements and is open for testing.
