Chroma CEO Announces Foundation for AI Agent Memory
Announces Foundation research preview for self-improving agent memory.
Jeff Huber, founder and CEO of Chroma, stated in a post that memory is the largest unsolved problem in AI and that no one has found the recipe yet. He previewed Foundation as a system to make memory work for AI agents by creating self-improving capabilities from session data. Replies note that the system produces human-readable wikis, with early users feeding personal chats into it and feeling seen. 100% human readable and BYOH (bring your own harness) ive fed family and friends personal chats into new Foundations and they are always delighted by "knowing what the AI knows about them" - they feel very seen and known.
