Renaissance Learning defeats proposed class action over K-12 student data

Renaissance Learning won a final victory against a proposed class action, Bloomberg Law reports. The suit alleged the company collected and disclosed K-12 students’ personal information without obtaining consent, in violation of federal and state privacy laws.
