11:53 AM · Jul 16, 2026Remember Humane? Remember the Rabbit R1? Remember how Jony Ive and OpenAI have been promising a device for more than a year, and still nothing? So far, AI hardware is just smoke and mirrors. Here is a new attempt at building something useful: a context-aware hardware interface. It looks like they are thinking about this from an AI-first perspective. Not sure how this will work, but I imagine it would be something like the now-defunct Mac touchpad that used to ship with every laptop? Will see.
11:13 AM · Jul 16, 2026OpenAI and Worklouder was in the news yesterday for their new hardware and today its Aina. AI is moving out of chat windows and into real-world interfaces. And Aina just raised $5.5 M. 2 years of AI in a chat window and now everyone's racing to devices.
