YouTube adds AI editing and new testing tools for creators

YouTube announced a new set of creator tools at Made On YouTube, including Studio feedback for drafts, dynamic thumbnails that can recommend among three versions for different audience segments, and a planned test for up to three cuts of a video. The company is also bringing Gemini Omni into a conversational assistant for Shorts and YouTube Create. Separately, YouTube says Custom Feeds will arrive for U.S. users this fall, while creators can organize Shorts into seasons and episodes. Several features are announced or coming rather than broadly available today.
