updated variants of GLM-5.2 (GLM-5.3) will be specialized into experts, RL'd hard, and used for MOPD, which will save them a lot of time with post-training. They are probably already training a 1T+ model I'd optimistically predict a 2.4T (ByteDance, Baidu have tried this scale)

reminder that GLM-4.5 (their first massive sparse MoE) was a totally different pretrain from GLM-4 (a normal llama/qwen-like). So if they go from 5.2 to 5.5, they probably intend another upscale

@AiBattle_ I don't think so but close to Opus 4.8 with better vision than Opus in general will be a really good model and will have massive adoption. I believe they will have Opus 4.8 level by October.
