Stumbled upon the strangest online scam. I've been seeing tons of AI videos for a fake product called the "float bro" - these videos go viral on IG and get millions of views. Some of these accounts now link to REAL Shopify stores where you can buy them. And it gets weirder 👇

The websites all feature AI-generated images - and some creative product variations. There's very little info about the product, but they also offer "accident coverage" for an additional $4.99. And it appears to let you go through the full checkout + use Shop Pay 🤯

At this point, I had to search for online reviews. I was shocked to find several YouTube videos - so I clicked through to watch. All of the videos are just someone scrolling through the website with an AI-generated voice on the top 🫠
