Antigravity releases UI and connectivity updates to version 2.0 that highlight the Open IDE button and add instructions for connecting to the IDE on Windows machines

PSA: the IDE in Antigravity 2.0 is alive and well, we just landed an update to the UI which makes it more clear (see top right).

Sorry for the confusion on this (pls keep feedback coming), we also just reset everyone’s weekly limits. Enjoy the weekend : )

Here’s the “Open IDE” button at the top right of 2.0 if you have both 2.0 and the IDE installed (and you are in a project-tied conversation, as opposed to a standalone conversation):

The IDE will now prompt you with a one-click button to migrate your settings, keybindings, and extensions from your pre-2.0 Antigravity installation:

If you don’t have the IDE installed (either new to Antigravity or did not select the option when updating to 2.0), that is now clearer with an “Install IDE” button at the top right of 2.0 when you are in a project-tied conversation:

Thanks for all of the Antigravity feedback over the last couple of days, especially around the IDE. Our intention was never to remove the IDE support for developers, and we should have been clearer with that in the product from the beginning.

We’ve made it clearer in 2.0 on how to connect to the IDE, fixed issues with opening the IDE on Windows machines, provided instructions to restore IDE settings & extensions, and more.

New releases for the Antigravity IDE and Antigravity 2.0 have rolled out with these changes.

We should have done better so we’re going to reset everyone’s Gemini quota for the week again.

@_mohansolo Please bring back Flash 3.0 in Antigravity - it was an excellent and efficient low-cost model.

@_mohansolo Any chance pro and flash won't share quota soon, or just a tiny bump in the limits? We all miss the "unlimited" 3 flash.

@_mohansolo Are quotas being evaluated? With so many resets needed this week, it feels like quotas are way off compared to where they need to be.

@_mohansolo Are you going to increase the Gemini usage limit for pro accounts that we only use as a chat for inquiries and don't use Antigravity for anything?

@_mohansolo Why not increase the Gravity quota while increasing the Gemini quota?

It is in a very bad condition right now. With 2 prompts, the quota of Plus membership is filled.

@iamprinceba @OfficialLoganK @antigravity Make sure the antigravity 2.0 is up to date (no request to update). Then Google "antigravity ide" and make sure to download that from the official Google page. Install the IDE (it will install to a different location). Set it up and select the migrate option. Restart the 2.0
