Vercel Sent $1,335 Bill After DDoS Attack
Founder Pieter Levels reported the invoice after DDoS downtime hit outbid.lol.
Pieter Levels posted that Vercel charged outbid.lol $1,335 for traffic during multiple DDoS attacks that caused downtime while he slept. Vercel CEO Guillermo Rauch replied that team members had already messaged the customer about a refund and ongoing support. Rauch noted many people were on call for the incident but said specifics could not be shared publicly. The original post also mentioned the site has since been restored.
