We should give China credit for producing solar so cheaply that it enabled every poor country to electrify without fossil fuels.

Positive users highlight net benefits from developing nations importing cheap Chinese solar and its potential to avert climate disaster, while negative replies turn hostile toward critics.
@SimonYoung76 Hey dork I write a positive tweet about China, you have to delete your account like we agreed

@Noahpinion Umm. You know China made those with Fossil fuels right ?

@Noahpinion If it were possible for China to adopt in constitution, the nominal civil liberties of the best Western countries, I can't think that it would be possible to outperform them.
@Noahpinion Solar allows electricity without a grid like mobile wireless allows Telecom without a physical network. The gridless option was always going to be advantaged because rising labor costs are global.

@Noahpinion It's not just solar: it's also scooters, smartphones, furniture, cars, appliances, televisions, batteries, shoes, construction equipment, plastics, textiles, factory machinery, ships, power tools, pharmaceuticals, toys, and software. And it's more than just the poor countries

@Noahpinion Great that they are all really sunny countries

@danielgoldisme @Noahpinion Yes, but the net positive is still bigger than if developing nations did it on their own or if they didn't have solar panels. So instead of Diesel Generators which use Diesel (high Import cost/less foreign exchange currency) they can have electricity without it.

@Noahpinion 👍🏼
And maybe saving civilization from climate calamity.
