@alexisohanian #1 mistake would be to restrict or curtail open models. It's the one thing that you can do that will 100% ensure China dominance.

It would insure china dominates the rest of the world, but it would also mean US citizens would be relegated to paying high rates for the best frontier models we have. It’s a pure lose/lose situation with zero benefits to anyone. Freedom requires openness and open source competition. That’s who we should be.
