I can think of 2 really well suited people and 3 or 4 more who could fit ok.

My question was also in earnest, not aware of any reporting of anything that reaches the level of “we do not like that you used claude to plan the vz raid”.

@tenobrus i was in their corner to the hilt last time, but if the reporting is correct that he picked a fight over the VZ raid but still wanted to maintain that contract that's legitimately deranged.

this time i think it's clearly on him and also i already backed their breakup attempt

@tenobrus this is exactly what I've been trying to say, and Dario has a home advantage because of the He/Him pronouns with this admin. all he has to do is put on a suit, say he loves America and talk about "Building up the National Security"

@tenobrus An important contextual read to what I'm saying here is that when working with the USG, which a lot of people don't have xp with, you have to basically bet on there being an admin swap every 4 years, which I don't think Dario is very good at.

@tenobrus i don’t understand, the point here isn’t to push products faster, it’s to transform humanity without killing us first, the usg is absolutely right and sober that they need significant upgrades and safety

@segyges @tenobrus “Asking whether Anthropic’s software was used in the operation” really does not reach that level. And an Anthropic exec asking a Palantir exec makes it doubly unconcerning, even if the tone might “indicate that Anthropic might disapprove”

@segyges @tenobrus And since this is a DoD source I’m inclined to think that if it *were* of the level where I’d have to be like “yeah what are Anthropic, a defence contractor, playing at”, that they’d have given a quotation that isn’t so hyperbolically milquetoast
