@saranormous Great piece. Let's hope that we all have the courage to be honest with ourselves and demand others do the same so that "bullshitting" ourselves and others goes away and isn't amplified greatly by AI/LLMS. Seek truth no matter how much it hurts instead of the ecstacy of delusion.
This reminds me of something @thedankoe writes about often: your life changes when you're willing to face the thing you're avoiding. The interesting addition here is that the hardest part isn't finding the fear—it's realizing your "logical reasons" are often just fear wearing a suit.
@saranormous Love this! I think a useful framing for even finding the things you’re avoiding is asking yourself “if x failed, what would have caused it?” There was a good tweet on this a few weeks ago
