It was totally non-Apple-like for the company to corrupt their consumer branding to try to dodge competition law and reeks of lack of vision and principle. Reminds me of the bizarre segment of the Epic v Apple trial where Roblox suddenly renamed "games" to "experiences".
@TimSweeneyEpic Please don't tell me that at this stage you're expecting Apple to have a single hair of anything resembling principles
@TimSweeneyEpic Shameless behavior!!
@TimSweeneyEpic 🤣🤣🤣got em 👍👍
Apple tried to get away with breaking competition law by claiming the "iPad App Store" was a totally different store than the "iOS App Store", and so on for every device family. Apparently, this was to dodge Apple's policy of blocking products that carried multiple games like XCloud. But then Phil Schiller got on stand and testified that user-made content in the Fortnite Creative and Roblox style were policy-compliant.
