SvelteKit 3 is now available
Svelte says its migration command can update much of an existing codebase automatically and generate a TODO list for the rest.
TLDR
Svelte says SvelteKit 3 brings more type safety, updated environment variables and less service-worker boilerplate. The release also has breaking changes: configuration moves to vite.config.ts, and the $lib alias becomes #lib. Remote functions are not ready yet; using them currently requires Async Svelte with an experimental flag.
