@GaryMarcus To be fair, China has been repeatedly risking it's economy on speculative bubbles as well - just not the ones in AI.

@GaryMarcus to be fair, China is blowing up its economy on crazy real estate/infrastructure overinvestment and unsustainable subsidized overproduction that is alienating all their trading partners. we've just picked different areas for massively counterproductive spending
