@RichDecibels If blueberries were getting 10x as delicious every year, the SF guy could have a point.

@RichDecibels @SkeleCap If you want to avoid being part of the permanent underclass, better get started growing your own blueberries.

@RichDecibels meanwhile the permanent underclass can't even afford blueberries

@RichDecibels In 36 months: Everything has always been blueberries

@RichDecibels I will not enter the chocolate factory, I will not eat the blueberry

@leehagaman1 @RichDecibels Idk if i feel like ai is 10x better than it was 3 years ago. Like sure the model might be 10 times bigger but not better.
Its more as if the blueberry needed 10x the land, water and fertiliser each year for a 10% taste improvement. While selling blueberries at a loss.

@RichDecibels The future can’t be stopped

@RichDecibels

@RichDecibels okay but the world was 0% blueberries six months ago and is 25% blueberries today

@RichDecibels Do blueberries scale?

@delululunar22 @RichDecibels I was thinking more generally about exponential improvement and extrapolation into the future. There clearly isn’t just one number to fully quantify AI capabilities or blueberry deliciousness.

@RichDecibels Does everyone in SF have ADHD

@_LapsisBeeftech @RichDecibels How is this even possible What are people using it for

@RichDecibels SF guy eating a delicious blueberry: blueberries will be everywhere
AND THEY ARE
Thanks to capitalism every store everywhere sells blueberries
@leehagaman1 @RichDecibels Ever if blueberries tasted better over time, maybe we should t restructure society and devote all our resources to that?

@leehagaman1 @RichDecibels "In 18 months blueberries will be 10 times more delicious"
