Thinking Machines says it has released Inkling, its first public model, describing it as a 975B open-weights system that reasons across text, image, and audio and is available for fine-tuning on Tinker. In a post on X, Mira Murati called it the company's first model trained from scratch, while Soumith Chintala said Inkling is also available on Hugging Face and partner platforms.
