For what it's worth, while I don't care at all about distillation, I do think operations that run thousands of accounts against a provider that doesn't want you there is still fraudulent and does deserve a response, including from our gov't. It just won't stop the signal.

@xlr8harder in the US we have the more elegant mechanism where neutral 3rd party vendors use both Claude Code and Codex to help create training tasks to sell to both OpenAI and Anthropic which definitely doesn’t count as distillation
