This brilliant lesson on communication by @rabois is why the AI leaders are failing. It’s not sufficient just to “speak your truth.” You have to communicate in a way that elucidates your audience. Convincing the public that your company is a menace obviously fails that test.

Negative users attacked David Sacks as a fraud or worse for claiming AI leaders fail the Rabois communication test, while positive users praised the point as profound for stressing empathetic messaging.

curious why literally everyone is failing though, how can you have uniformity of miscommunication across the spectrum? surely someone breaks through but we haven’t seen that.
seems like just a very sensitive topic all around that does have a lot of potential for disruption of daily life.

@DavidSacks @rabois "brilliant lesson on communication" = banal definition of a sales pitch. Honest opinions can't be confusing or misunderstood at first. Narratives/sales pitches are intentionally simplified for the public.

@DavidSacks @rabois This is great, and I agree but: I’ll take one for the audience: @grok what does elucidates mean?
“The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.” - George Bernard Shaw

@DavidSacks @rabois That's where Trump is failing in communicating his geopolitical policy to USA people. He fails to set out why the Mullahs and Putin need to be removed, the immediate cost of doing so and the (very large) longer term benefit as the US under Trump dominates world economy again!

@DavidSacks @rabois David, yes, obviously Dario's messaging has been retarded, but ffs just give us Fable back.
And without some nasty new KYC regime that future admins will abuse, please.

@DavidSacks @rabois This is brilliant.

@DavidSacks @rabois AI promises the world but often delivers a privacy nightmare. While companies dazzle with flashy features, they ignore the foundation: trust. It's not about what AI can do, but what it should respect - your data. Let's cut through the BS and demand accountability in AI

@DavidSacks @rabois You've had it out for @DarioAmodei and you got your wish. Now we know who to hate. Get real- comms :) OK. Like you are a Comms guy :) Fucking with the wrong @DarioAmodei https://suno.com/s/U5oKWGyAI20lJoQu

@DavidSacks @rabois Bragging about layoffs Sneering at people concerned about massive data centers by dismissing them as “NIMBYs” is moronic & why so many Americans hate Big Tech. The AI race matters, but winning it requires awareness, humility & public trust. So far tech industry has failed

Jensen Huang from NVIDIA gets that. He said outright that people who scare customers are damaging the 5-layer cake that is AI: - Energy - Data centers - AI Labs - Robotics and AI First startups.
I hope Anthropic finally gets it. Lower the Fear Marketing volume. Modestly and effectively make your models safer. Stop crying wolf.

@DavidSacks @rabois "Truth" 🤣

@DavidSacks @rabois This is retarded, the AI leaders aren't failing. They're being stymied by you insecure losers because your feelings got hurt.
Although what should one expect from someone who calls his friend group "besties" lmao

@robustus @DavidSacks @rabois Literally slowing down GDP growth to teach a lesson on "communication". Insane.

@DavidSacks @rabois I think this message would hit home better if you used a simpler word than 'elucidates'.

@DavidSacks @rabois Still waiting for him to elucidate on his statement that the Iran war was over 3 months ago

I've never seen CEOs of Companies go out to the public with a new technology and say what they are creating is so destructive and that it will destroy all of society and cause wide spread suffering and then expect their product or service to be successful.
What the hell is wrong with some of these people?

@DavidSacks @rabois *Rich guy says something extremely obvious*
*the crowd goes mild*

@DavidSacks @rabois 100% | The goal is to be empathetic enough to find the right words so your message is understood

@DavidSacks @rabois Imagine what their employees are going through mentally
