@wolfejosh No comment on distillation? An adversary breaking tos to distill your model (in a country where they cannot be sued) then open sourcing it to steal your business for pennies on the dollar doesn't sound like fair competition to me...
@wolfejosh US entrepreneurs are incapable of building anything in a cheaper or optimized way, China is capable.
absolutely, ANY open weights can work. China has developed it a) because they have great talent and b) it 'dumps' and competitively undermines all the US investment/expenditure i don't think we should fight that or 'bail out' US companies if they ever need it
