CBS News reports that the U.S. Open is using a metric called Serve Quality to give fans and players a new way to analyze tennis. Using cameras and IBM’s AI technology, it tracks a player’s movements and measures the efficiency, accuracy and consistency of their serve, producing a score out of 100.
