This is a timely suggestion by Demis. We cannot make the same mistakes we made with atomic bombs. We cannot wait for a catastrophe to make us realise that we need a UN for AI or a AI safety treaty across nations. Demis is a deeply respected leader in the AI community and he can be given the charge to direct its future use.
