OpenAI Restores 5-Hour Limit for ChatGPT Plus Accounts
Tibo from OpenAI Codex team announces return of usage cap for Plus tier.
Tibo, Research Engineer on OpenAI's Codex team, posted that tomorrow the 5h limit returns for Plus accounts on ChatGPT Work and Codex. He said the change had been mentioned earlier then postponed. The post lists two reasons: smoothing compute load to maintain generous weekly usage and managing demand from Plus users. A reply from Theo notes the limit stays off for the $100 and $200 plans.
