Boaz Barak@boazbaraktcsI agree with this take. I am happy Anthropic and other OpenAI competitors exist, and don't think a single actor is a path to a good future. As I said in my blog post "we may not be able to get to a decentralized future via centralized means"

T( Teortaxes▶️ (DeepSeek 推特🐋铁粉 2023 – ∞)@teortaxesTexBoaz is one of the most clear-headed people talking about AGI safety. Of course, "a decentralized future" is kind of the whole debate. Many safetyists would much prefer centralization. It does feel more secure, so long as you get a Good Tsar.
