@markgurman Honestly what’s the point of this phone? Base model and pro are better?
Positive users praise the second-generation iPhone Air's sleek design and planned camera-plus-battery upgrades while negative users question its purpose versus base or Pro models and call the dual-camera layout absurd.

@markgurman YES!!!!!!
The Air is Apple’s best looking device ever!

@markgurman Care little for an additional camera. More battery is welcome, tho. The Air is just the nicest iPhone for such a long while.

@leder2200 @markgurman Design excellency

@leder2200 @markgurman You are correct
Extremely thin and lightweight while packing Pro’s power is design excellency

@markgurman Air is one of apples best iPhones in years, had mine months now coming from a pro model, missed the 3 camera system for a bit, but now one decent camera is all you really need, very happy with the Air

@matteodotsui @markgurman Thin = design excellency I guess 🤷♂️

@markgurman Have Air now. I’d buy Air 2 if it has second camera since I have an AVP now.

@markgurman It seems obvious that the lineup with turn into iPhone Air, Pro, and Ultra.

@markgurman YESSSS!
Love my iPhone Air!

@markgurman Releasing it outside of the main September event seems like a great way to ensure it remains viewed as a second class “lesser” iPhone which is a shame - great device

@markgurman Displayport?

@markgurman Bigger battery or stereo speakers is far more important for day to day usability than a second camera imo

@markgurman Would rather they just focused on making the single sensor as good as possible and leave the room the second sensor would take for something else. I get I'm probably in the minority though.

@markgurman No vapor chamber or dual speakers mark?

@leder2200 @markgurman I love mine. So thin and smooth.

@markgurman I love my iPhone Air. Not sure I need a new one, but I’m curious to see what it brings.

Exciting update on the second generation iPhone Air. Adding a second rear camera and enhancing battery life represents a thoughtful step forward in Apples multi year overhaul plan. This could elevate the Air model to appeal to a broader audience by improving photography options and daily usability in a slim form factor. It suggests a strategic shift where the Air becomes a key player in the lineup potentially simplifying the overall range over time. Looking forward to more details on these advancements.

@markgurman Okey, and not a Second Speaker to hear dual. If they did the camera + Dual speakers, it will be the most selling iPhone.

@markgurman That actually sounds very interesting. I could see the basic models being replaced with the Air-series, soon.
