Yes, Bill Chisholm is a PE guy. So were Pags and Wyc.
One big difference is that Chisholm had less $$, so needed institutional PE (which Pags warned about).
Yes, but: The firm Chisholm partnered with is Sixth Street -- which also owns part of the SF Giants, the club that took on tons of salary w/ Rafael Devers (a Red Sox salary dump).
Anyway, it's a vomitous deal (unless another shoe drops). With or without PE involvement.
