@deepfates also have a cloudflare artifacts thing for versioning and syncing skills/etc for our small company which is shaping up to be pretty cool

@andreihasna @deepfates I have these 3 boxes in my home office, each is 128-core Threadripper, one 512gb of ram and the other 2 have 256gb. And then I have 2 bare metal cloud machines with 64 cores and 256gb of ram. And a couple of Mac minis. Plus an old surface book running windows for builds only.

@deepfates repo, i built pi-notes which uses tiago forte-esque "second brain" PARA style organization in .brain folders
they are mdx (svelte/mdsvx) files with a small vite server per workspace/repo and ability to publish via http://wzrrd.sh

@deepfates i do a "project" folder (a git repo) with project-specific md, and git checkouts (but not submodules) of other stuff (shared docs, code i want to edit in this project, etc)
where project might be as small as a single ticket, ie it has finite scope and dotenv to wire the rest

@deepfates It’s really clunky . I don’t understand why I can’t just pay to have everything continuous in the cloud I pull from seamlessly
@deepfates branches, using OneDev w/autocreation of repos on first push as the remote. I like this setup bc you can put everything in context, incl pasta that doesnt belong to the main repo you edit, then limit the claude/codex access to subfolder nicely and set them to yolo. dockerizes too

@deepfates All devices connected on a tailnet so they're always accessible to each other. All files live on the home server. VSCode, Claude Code can remote in to the server from other machines. Feels pretty seamless.
@doodlestein I will take a look, but I just want to give some feedback that your ability to market yourself is so intimidating that I have never used one of your projects despite being interested and theoretically impressed. More conversational prompting strategy is recommended for deepfates
@deepfates for most projects etc. I just use git -> github with individual repos, for my notes in Obsidian I pay for their sync service
@deepfates Mono repo everything's on a fulcrum CLI and we have attachments. One of those attachments is the documentation repo one of those attachments is the documentation repo, which has its own compiler and SEO engine so you can search the documentation itself
@xlr8harder @deepfates I think they make you pay for that. For a while I used Obsidian with "syncthing" on my phone and laptop and it worked fine
@deepfates i mostly use git and strict rules about maintaining a clean git, merging, worktree, etc and also folder organization rules. the a cron script that checks and identifies problems to fix regularly
