The dataset models a persistent legal work environment for testing AI agents.
Harvey announced it is open sourcing Calderwood & Harkness, a synthetic law firm built with EngramLab. The release includes work product from 250 synthetic matters across 46 clients and roughly 10,000 files totaling more than 100 million tokens. Posts from both accounts state the dataset creates a persistent environment so agents can practice retrieving and applying a law firm's prior work to new matters. EngramLab's post adds that current models know legal rules but lack familiarity with how firms actually operate day to day.
