Elevation Lab pulls AirTag Silencer after stalking concerns

MacRumors reports Elevation Lab removed its AirTag Silencer from sale on October 13, 2026. The company said it made the tool to keep thieves from finding AirTags on bikes, but acknowledged that silencing a tracker could help someone follow a person who would not receive phone alerts. Elevation Lab said it would use its patent to prevent others from making a similar accessory.
