In an 85-second video released by NVIDIA for World Mental Health Day, Kuddo Health founder Wenyi connects the company’s mission to a personal memory. After moving to the United States alone at age 13, she says the therapy room was one of the few places where she felt seen and supported.
Years later, that experience led her to ask who supports behavioral-health clinicians. Wenyi says clinicians guide people through difficult moments but often receive little support and guidance in their own work and career development.
Rethinking clinical supervision
Wenyi describes supervision as an important part of professional development and clinical quality. In her account, the traditional process is expensive, time-consuming and manual. A senior clinician may spend hours reviewing one session, while feedback can arrive days or weeks after the session took place.
