Elon Musk accuses Mukesh Ambani of blocking Starlink in India

Bloomberg reports that Musk accused unnamed rivals of blocking SpaceX’s Starlink satellite broadband network in India, an apparent swipe at Mukesh Ambani and Sunil Bharti Mittal. At the time of its October 7 report, SpaceX was awaiting Indian government approval to offer Starlink service there. India’s Ministry of Communications called suggestions of discriminatory regulation “baseless and misconceived,” saying three satellite licensees were undergoing security assessments. Musk later sarcastically addressed Ambani as “Prime Minister Ambani” and asked whether he would allow Starlink to compete.
