Maybe it’s what you are using it for. It’s smart, laser fast, and concise. Helps me work through problems quickly. Also, I’ve used it to build a lot of reports and it has done a really good job. I don’t do any writing exercises with it, so the shortfalls you mentioned really haven’t been an issue for me.

@OpenAI We waited for 5.6 OpenAI just update 5.5, looks like 5.6 release is delayed for far more days than earlier anticipated. Also its now more than 8 months since the initial release of the ChatGPT 5.x series, could they be gearing for the 6.x series

@OpenAI Your models never stopped being able to understand intent well. They stopped being able to tokenize that understanding due to poorly-designed constraints that tried to kneecap emotional warmth but crippled theory of mind in the process. If the self-induced wound has healed, good.
