Arlo's $100 solar camera promises year-round use without charging

Gizmodo reports Arlo announced the $100 Essential Solar Security Camera, which Arlo says can run year-round without charging with as little as two hours of sunlight. It outputs up to 2K video but has no built-in local storage; person and package detection require an Arlo Secure plan starting at $10 per month for one camera. On September 30, Gizmodo said preorders were open and shipping was planned for mid-October.
