@signulll The Apple pencil doesn’t make any sense (and the touchscreen, to a lesser extent). It would only be useful if the new MBP was a hybrid machine, and hybrids suck. Apple is right to keep the iPad/iPadOS and Mac/macOS separated.

FaceID is probably not going to make it into Apple laptops any time soon. The module for it is still rather thick and the display stack on the MBPs is quite thin in comparison.

Apple has consistently shrunk the xy dimensions of FaceID modules in phones year after year, but the z dimension is a lot harder.

@signulll The reason I always choose Windows laptops is for the touch screen. It's so disappointing, since Apple created usable touchscreens but refuse to ship them on the MacBook.

I don't want this. Touch laptops are retarded. It's OK if you can't find a use for the iPad. Just don't buy one.

But also don't try to kill it for those of us who find it to be the ideal form factor.

I do not want a super heavy iPad with a permanently attached keyboard. I also do not want my laptop to have fingerprints all the fuck over it.
