FTC Proposes Policy Statement On Suppressing AI Accuracy

The FTC’s AI Policy Statement is a direct assault on the principles that founded this country 250 years ago.

The founders were not naive about human nature or the tendency of power to expand. They built a system of enumerated powers and explicit prohibitions precisely because they knew that good intentions and “protecting the people” rhetoric would always be used to justify new controls. The FTC’s AI Policy Statement is a textbook example.
