XRP Ledger’s Batch V1.1 reportedly one vote short of approval threshold

CoinGape reported on September 15 that Batch V1.1 had support from 27 of 35 trusted XRP Ledger validators, one vote short of the 80% approval threshold. If activated, the outlet says, the upgrade could bundle up to eight linked transactions and help streamline swaps, payments, fees and other multi-step transactions. CoinDesk describes the bundling as atomic—all or nothing—and says it would eliminate the risk of partial failed transfers.
