Tesla says it will start selling Cybercabs by the end of 2026

TechCrunch reports that Tesla plans to start selling Cybercabs to customers by the end of 2026, starting small while vehicles now being built go to its own robotaxi fleet. The two-seater lacks a steering wheel and other traditional controls, and federal regulators are investigating whether it meets vehicle safety standards. Elon Musk said most Cybercabs would remain Tesla-owned ride-hailing vehicles.
