Says so much about Britain that it not only decided largely to get rid of its army, navy and air force as effective fighting forces but then thought it was oh-so-clever to decimate its industrial capacity and leave itself with a grid that relies on wind and costs more than most people can afford to pay.

@AlistairCarns Very few young people are motivated to defend a country that sees no particular value in them, that acknowledges no debt of mutual duty to its own people.

Those rare few who are so motivated join up, only to discover it's all inflatable tanks and dry docks.

@AlistairCarns Time to condemn the large nuclear deterrents to the bin, they are outdated and very expensive. Cyber attacks on infrastructure and autonomous drones will be the future. We are living in the dark ages. Remove the nuclear weapons, they will never be used.
