Apple and Meta team up to run Muse Spark Open locally on Mac Studios

Axios reports that Meta is releasing Muse Spark Open, an 816-billion-parameter open-weight AI model it worked with Apple to run locally on Mac Studios. Meta says it is the most powerful U.S.-developed open-weight model available. Axios says the model will be free to download under a license allowing commercial use. For now, Apple is helping demonstrate local use, not incorporating the model into Apple Intelligence.
