Many users hail Starlink in-flight internet on London-bound flights as a game-changing connectivity boost, while some object that it eliminates one of the last places to truly disconnect.
@rauchg This is awesome. What airline?

@rauchg Free for everyone or you have to pay?

@rauchg How fast is it though?

@bscholl @rauchg Boom Supersonic + Starlink !!!

@rauchg What's the latency like in practice? Satellite internet always has dead zones. If it's 150ms+ with drops, it's a nice premium feature but not an advancement. Just expensive WiFi at 40,000 feet.

@rauchg it's insane how much of a game changer it is for flight

@rauchg Wilbur Wright did not die so you could be on Slack at 37,000 feet. 😂

@rauchg how are you generating these screenshots, they look fucking rad

@rauchg I’ve been purposefully checking if flights have Starlink before booking this past months.

@rauchg Wright Brothers made a catapult. Santos Dumont created the plane 🇧🇷

@rauchg The meaning of "Airplane mode" is about to change?!

Isn’t this anticompetitive ? The person posting this did not agree to advertise Starlink. I like Starlink but this might attract regulatory scrutiny. It’s not like they provide X affiliate links to any products mentioned and get a commission if they did that X might finally become profitable. @nikitabier take this idea and gimme 1% lol

@Vishal_anton16 Free

@rauchg Always a wonderful experience, until you run into Palo Alto 🤣, single handedly wastes the entire innovation and progress for 40 years of connectivity

@rauchg I agree…I only fly YVR-CDG with Air France because they have Starlink!

@rauchg Man, that's wild. Hope the WiFi actually works for the whole flight and not just for the first 10 minutes.

@rauchg soon wifi in space

@rauchg Who has it on sfo zurich? Headed that way soon

@rauchg Hey what’s your ghosty config? Looks great with vercel logo
