Korea JoongAng Daily reports that the U.S. and Europe are tightening restrictions on Chinese smart cars amid concerns their onboard technology could turn them into “spies on wheels.” The newspaper describes Korea's approach to safeguards against potential national-security risks as more lax and says a free-trade agreement with Beijing constrains Seoul.
