Aurora alpha references reportedly appeared in OpenAI APIs; image models reportedly being tested on Arena

A user says aurora-red-alpha, aurora-green-alpha and aurora-blue-alpha references appeared in OpenAI APIs, then disappeared shortly afterward. The same user later reported trying Aurora image models they said were being tested on Arena. They preferred Green to Red, praised Aurora’s colors over gpt-image-2.5-flare and speculated that a Daybreak update was more likely than near-term public access to the exact alpha models.
