Wow, I know OpenAI has taken literally zero actions to show that it's differentiated from Anthropic in this way, but if it's coming from the mouth of such a paragon of consistent candidness as Sam Altman, I guess I'll just have to trust that bro

I am not a fan of OpenAIs integrity track but saying Anthropic holds a high standard for integrity is absurd.

You are the ones who actually committed to the world a whole policy about pausing and stopping and then just abandoned it, and tried to gaslight everyone into believing you never promised anything.

Not to mention the whole “we don’t intend to push the frontier of capabilities” false promise.

I think Anthropic is better than OpenAI on this dimension, but you absolutely do not deserve the mantle of integrity either.
