XDA Replaces VLC With Lean Open-Source Player
XDA shares an article about switching away from VLC to a simpler open-source player.
TLDR
XDA posted on X that its author replaced VLC with a leaner open-source media player. The accompanying article carries the headline I replaced VLC with a faster open-source alternative I wish I did it sooner and states the new player runs circles around VLC. The XDA tweet includes a link to the piece and repeats the claim that the writer is not going back. No other sources or details about the replacement appear in the packet.
