Meta smart glasses may have recorded conversations without the 'Hey Meta' wake phrase

Gizmodo, citing Android Authority and a Reddit thread of owners, reports that Meta smart glasses may have kept records of conversations after a recent firmware update without the 'Hey Meta' wake phrase. One owner said the capture light turned on during ordinary speech, suggesting the microphone was active. Some accounts suggested the 'respond without Hey Meta' feature had been turned off. Meta says the problem has been fixed but offered few details.
